My Philosophy

As last seen on Food Network, Halloween Wars, National Award-Winning Cake Artist, and American Cake Awards, Rising Star USA, Janette Dulaney has been sculpting custom cakes and unique sugar art in southwest Florida, since 2020.  She sculpts high-end, edible pieces that are unique, never duplicated, and one of a kind!  Her passion to connect with each client is reflected in the design and detail of every cake she creates.

"I was raised in Naples, Florida, and during college I decided to take some time to venture out of Southwest Florida to multiple states, but always came back 'home'.  I went to school for biomedical engineering and thought I had enough passion and drive to live my life as a biomedical engineer, but I was challenged as a stay-at-home mom to my 3 kiddos to really figure out where I would best thrive and really take into account my individuality apart from being a mother.  I found very early in my life a love for creating art through designing, repurposing, writing, painting, and now sculpting.  

For me, I figured it out.  If I'm not creating something or have something artistic in the works, I feel a little bit of me is missing...so I have to keep my gears turning!  When I hear somebody's story, no matter where I am, my brain naturally starts creating some type of artistic piece for that special someone standing in front of me.  It used to be in the form of poetry, but now my gears turn to sculpting.  If I know your story, know I have already designed something I am eager to sculpt out of cake and sugar custom to you!"
